This song is so underrated. I listen to this on repeat when I have anxiety and it quells it. The voice, the cadence, the scripture, they all work together and Josh does it seamlessly. Can’t say enough good things about this song. I just love it.

I definitely get the point of this. Obviously, Christ lives in us and we are supposed to live like Him. But I’m a little confused, though. Christ DID rise from the grave with a physical body. (That was even doubting Thomas’s contention point, he said he needed to feel Jesus’ physical body himself to believe He came back… and then Jesus told him to come feel His hands and His side to prove He was really back). So Christ DOES have a physical body…

As an artist when when I complete a work… and I step back to observe it, never do I feel that I had much to do with it. It is truly behind my talents and skill. It is so humbling to know God used me… I am His media of choice at that moment. Listening to you speak of the process made me break into tears… I have been blessed by your music for sometime. So authentic and gorgeous. To hear you tell how the creation of the art is just the middle of its purpose articulates the purpose so well. Many blessings you, your family, and all the ears, hearts and souls that hear your music.

Boy did I need to hear this right now! Thank you for sharing your vulnerability on this topic. I used to spend quiet time in reflection and preparation for my day behind and ahead ( I am an elementary art teacher in a public school). I have somehow become a get-up and go at it person, dragging out Lord along with me. And I am exhausted. Dragging Him is ridiculous, isn’t it… how much He must laugh while crying at my efforts. He is a better one to lead. Reversing the trend will take some serious work.

My parents meet in Indianapolis. My daddy took us three small kids, to a little Catholic church in a ping-pong room, at the University of Hawaii, in the 1970s. "Hosanna" is the only song I recall from those days. I played your music for my dad the last time I saw him, we all enjoyed it. Many times we spoke of, and I sang, the Hosanna song, but I had no idea you sang it, until after the funeral 2 months ago,. My sister was delusional with grief, when "Hosanna" just came on the Alexa player after I said," Play Josh Garrels".. I was overwhelmed. She said," You see Daddy is here".
